Born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland, Yael Lilienfeld relocated to NYC as a young model. In 2011 she launched her first, and what is to become her signature jewelry collection, Precious Secrets®. The egg shape is the main motif here, as Yael believes it represents protection and life growing within. Each of the 18k gold and diamond pieces hold a special meaning and has quickly captured the hearts of fans across the US and in Europe.
Currently the collection retails exclusively in the prestigious jewelry shop La Serlas in Zurich.
The brand has been featured in well-known jewelry industry publications such as Tourbillon Magazine and the daily newspaper Tagesanzeiger. “Ihr Name ist Poesie, ihr Leben wie ein Maerchen (Her name is a poem and her life is like a fairy tale)” writes Bolero Magazine, calling Yael a “jewelry poet”. Her jewelry pieces are designed with a meaning and a story to be told, whether it is a pendant that carries a personalized message inside, or a one-of-a-kind masterpiece encasing a precious pink diamond only to be revealed to the special ones.
“Jewelry has the magic to unite people, share stories” says Yael. She also believes strongly in giving back to the community, and has been privileged to design a unique piece (Plant-A-Seed) that was auctioned off by Christie’s at a charity event in Geneva supporting education.
“Putting a smile on someone’s face” has always been a major drive for Yael in her plans with Yael Jewelry.
